I brought up a NetBSD 11.0 server on TierHive, with absolutely minimal specs, to the tune of $0.10/month. It's running bozohttpd, behind inetd. I didn't actually want to use inetd because it adds complexity and additional attack surface, but that seems to be the default approach, so we'll see how it goes.
For now, I'm journaling in plain HTML, but I'll probably switch to Markdown at some point since it's a little less verbose.
Access logs are, by default, configured to go to the "ftp" section, which means "/var/log/xferlog".
